It wasn't pitch black as there were lights on in and around the stadium, enough to suggest that visibility will be an issue. I hope I am wrong.

Bother! Driving along Tongdean Lane, I couldn't see anything further than the Sportsman. I could only see as far as the halfway line round the bend and that is because they had those halogen lamps on the pitch.

But they don't play in Tongdean Lane !!
