Sounds like a big problem in Paris with thousands of ticketless Liverpool supporters attempting to get into the stadium. The ticket checking perimeter is too close to the stadium apparently.....Let's hope this won't be another prefect storm.

according to people who are there the liverpool area was crammed by ticketless locals meaning that fans with tickets couldn't get in , players relatives with tickets from the club were told by "officials" that their tickets were counterfeit which is patently not the case, fans queuing outside with tickets were pepper sprayed by the good old gendarmerie in an attempt to disperse them (bless their little socks , anyone who knows will just know) , looks like the French have ballsed this one up nicely.

Yup. Not sure what the word on that banner was originally (the name of a town, I'm guessing) but it definitely wasn't "ticketless." You can tell that simply by how it doesn't follow the curve of the top of the banner.

You seem to be a part of creating a new one. Thousands did travel to Paris without tickets but if you are going to imply that thousands tried to force their way in you are going to need to produce some evidence. John Robertson has said he gave away complimentary tickets which the stewards claimed were fake, which was obviously not the case.
This thread is nothing more than an embarrassing airing of prejudice but to persist with the lies around Hillsborough takes it to a new low.

i had good mates that were at The Heysel Stadium , the trouble there was mostly caused by locals and Police , basically the English are not liked on the continent , they are more than happy to take your money but largely they view us as scum.

Nev we share a love of the Albion, but we will have to agree to differ on this one.

Sadly all of the fans who died played by the rules that day, they had match tickets and they arrived at the ground in plenty of time, I accept that the some of the people responsible for the tragedy have been held to account, but it will never be possible for everyone culpable in that horrific incident to be traced and also held to account.

yes there has been a lot of that , the English have been their own worse enemies, has the violence between Roma and Frankfurt fans been extensively covered in the English media...?? 80 deported 20 police injured , one policeman stabbed?? , the trouble at the Heysel was brought about by the locals taunting the English fans about the sinking of English ships by exocet missiles which were Belgian made...not an excuse but that is what cause it , there was footage of a photographer running across the athletics track to get away from the crumbling wall only to be flattened by a copper with a baton. No flat footed bobbies on the continent mate , they don't dick about.
