Problem for everyone flying back from Newcastle the next morning.

The last coach from Boro to Newcastle leaves at 8:30 pm and the first one in the morning is 10:20 am.


Anyone know of any other ones that I've missed.

• Coach – 14:50 - 16:10 (0 NX 380 Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Middlesbrough) – 04.50 GBP
• 20 minute walk to the ground (Walk east – compass anyone?)

It's cheaper to get a coach back to Brighton after the game. Rather than pay for accomodation. One leaves the bus station at 10 past midnight.

Bollocks to that. Accomodation is for wimps. I'll be kipping at the airport for our 6:45 flight back.

Train leaves Boro at 23.03

It's quicker than the coach too.

Does anyone know anywhere decent to stay in Newcastle, fancy flying to Newcastle, train to boro, then train back for a few beers and a few hours kip before flying back.

Booked our flights already

Stanstead - Newcastle gets there about 1230.

Dedcided to hire a car as the Train or coach back to Newcastle after the game is a nightmare (only one train and it gets into Toon at 0030 changing at Darlington and see above for coach)

Hopefully should be back in Newcastle in time to have a few beers before retiring to the Travelodge at sometime on Thursday morning.

Flight back is at about 1630 on Thursday

Anyone else with similar plans?

Yeah, I just realised that too.

But I've done some snooping on the net and it seems that taxis only cost a few pounds from the train station to the airport.


I really think this trip'll work.
