Can't players make their own decisions?

Buckley fouled just outside the box in the last few minutes - Everyone looking at each other who should take the kick - After wasting 30 vital seconds or more looking at each other and then at the at the bench Gus sent Bridcutt to take it who was one of the farthest from the ball!! Too much control? Players too nervous to make a decision at crucial moments? Players natural ability and flair stifled by a too rigid management?
Come on Gus, let them off the leash!!!

The op has made a fair comment to be honest, no one seems to want to take a shot at goal outside of the box, it`s starting to look like Gus removes there bollocks prior to each game

To be fair the ones that did shoot from outside the box where just awful on the whole - Hammond, Dobbie, KLL spring instantly to mind

Not gonna disagree with you there , maybe our players should take some example from some great players and put in extra practice/training to improve there game , or are they too fcuking lazy or too busy walking there fcuking dogs.

.TottonSeagull's right, why does everyone go around accusing others of things they don't know about. How does anyone know that Gus isn't allowing them to shoot outside the box? I'm sure no one on here knows that so why go around saying it? Probably far from the truth?

Oh and Barnes and Dobbie both had efforts in the second half from outside the box, which missed and ended up in the north stand. Sure its not the management stopping them doing it, how about the fans negative reaction too it everytime they miss? Then they come on here moaning we didn't shoot enough from outside the box. If they're going to abuse our players for it are they surpised they're going to stop doing it??

Also Bruno and Bridge are no strangers to shooting outside the box. Its the likes of Hammond and Dicker that get into good positions but are scared to shoot. Reminds me of Navarro last season, no where near the best at shooting, but never afraid to have a go, and whilst some were woeful, he scored against Leeds away and gave us 3 points!!

Rant over.
