Just a thought but is spending £250m on a football club an ethical thing to do?

Yes. Because in this instance he has been in a position to use his enormous wealth not just to indulge in an extremely expensive hobby for his own satisfaction, but to make sure he does it well and ethically, and to share with thousands of others the enormous joy (and angst) that the football club brings. Along with the jobs and other economic benefits brought to our region. TB strikes me as a modern day philanthropist, demonstrated by some of those special little touches along the way, e.g. Comfy seats for all, promotion bonus for ALL staff, clackers at big games (joking). I don't know TB, but it's my hunch that his moral compass is intact.
