In the dull ways of many an other football forum boards but this is NSC we all play a part in moderating to a degree and we can moderate our behaviour as well,too much of one thing or another can get tedious..

As members of NSC we all have the right to start and post in threads. If someone gets on my tits and i have no reason to value their opinion, I simply add them to ignore. It doesn't mean that I want them banned. Especially for the reasons that this poster was!

Having witnessed this as it was unrolling, it was fairly diverting at the time.

But the bannee was warned of the ban unless more info was forthcoming.

I don't have an ignore list,i did test the function on a top poster [MENTION=588]8ace[/MENTION] he could take it and it worked but i have since removed him and i must say do i want any one banned?

really i could not care,however good posters are missed so maybe i did a little when 8 was banned "harshly may i add" recently...

To me, HB&B's weather reports and insubstantial press conference reports are as much a part of the fabric of NSC as Ernest's reporting on his secret MEETING with HIS sauce, Turienzo's Toughest Creature competition (which I have zero interest in, but accept that others do), official match threads, Bushy posting some self-serving Daily Mail story and inviting a discussion, 'Positives from Yesterday' threads when we've just been slaughtered.

Oh, and I suppose, to which I can add, unfair bannings.

You can't add mods to your ignore list unfortuneately.

Agree with all of that. And I would add Das Reich's obsession with "top boys" and TLO's obsession with himself and Bozza suspending the board whilst Apple make new product announcements. It's just part of NSC. I thought HKFC was supposed to be a moderator, not a sensor.

I concur with the general view that the ban is a little harsh. Yes he is tedious and boring and that is why he is the only person on my ignore list. The only downside with that us that the ignore function only blocks the posts and so the annoying " I've Just seen a Fire Engine " or " Today's humidity levels have shot up 2% " titles still appear. HK is a little terrier quite often but maybe this time he has started a fight that he can't win.
