Does anyone on here know how i can speed up the waiting time for BT to come install my Infinity? I placed the order last week and am being told it won't be installed until the 8th November!

most people are having to wait similar times (friends and family). its a very popular product because its good! (i got it last year)

Move to Peterborough, I had mine installed in about 7 days.
Worth the wait tho.

I thought there was something with the local area exchange which prevented BT infinity from being installed.

The demand for Infinity has been enormous apparently, they are working flat out with the major works of connecting towns and villages to the network (massive work for weeks running the cabling from Burgess Hill to Hassocks) and the smaller job of actually installing the new modems and switching the local exchanges.

I'm by the cricket ground and they haven't told me there is a problem with the exchange, just stating that they can't get the engineers out until the 8th November.

Bexhill exchange gets it on 30 Sept so I suspect the waiting time over here could be a while
