Robinson never got the adulation he deserved. One of our best ever strikers.

I don't know about the adulation but I remember him being pretty popular. I certainly adulated him. Definitely right, one of our best ever players, his time at Liverpool and in Spain proved that.

Thanks for posting that! So interesting to see the difference in style of football in those days, much quicker, much more hoofing, but boy was it exciting! Wonderful to see Robbo and Ritchie but a special mention must be for Tony Grealish who had a blinder.

He could hack it in his first season in the top flight. But then he grew that moustache which significantly weighed him down.
