Murphy getting doubled up
Kayal and Stephens facing a wall of players in front of them

It's not tough to see why we're showing absolutely nothing up front, this is why 442 works with two wingers, stick a proper winger on the right and both him and JM would have space, and if they didn't Kayal and Stephens would. We need Manu on now IMO, go 433 with JM and EM on the wide areas and BZ up top.

Very much so. Similar style of football. Slow to break, lacking ideas..... This needs changing at HT

Umm, we don't have the players, so we'll have to continue to huff and puff from side to side and probably concede another on the break. We look like a relegation threatened side recently. Absolutely no chance of challenging for the top two any more IMO.

If Manu can't get a decent amount of game time in a side lacking any creativity, we should probably offload him a la Toko

Every f*****g time we are on TV one of our Centre Backs f**** up one way or another. By the time any signings arrive our ship will have sailed regarding promotion. It wouldn't be so bad if we could score more freely but having a weakened defence and a pair of sick note wingers is making our promotion push impossible.

Happy New Year  (and I agree with your comment btw)

The injuries, and the age-old (Amex era) problems of a lack of creativity and pace in attack (in the Amex era) have resurfaced. Opponents are able to sit back with the proverbial 2 banks of 4 or more, smoke cigars as they mop up predictable fodder, then counter attack with pace or rely on Albion blunders at set pieces by the error-prone defence.

The promotion must happen this year. The parachute payment riches of those relegated to the Championship are about to go to another level. Villa, Sunderland and the others will destroy the rest with squad quality.

TB is well aware. Let's hope he gets the signings they're crying out for in this window.

Rather predictable at the moment. To many players hovering around the wings and not in the box, saying that the crosses have been shite.

Expected a draw and this looks the likeliest result at best for us as wolves will catch us on the break as we push forward.

We started very well - but we have created too few shots from possession. That own goal was just dire. No pressure on him and Stockdale had it until he provided the finish

We have no one who can run and take players on. Murphy is meant to do that but can't.
And God we need someone who can deliver a set piece. One of the most basic things in football yet we are totally rubbish at them.

Murphy is a quality player what a load of rubbish saying he is useless, he is a player who looks good on the ball, yes his crossing not always perfect but he is a asset to this club and got unlucky with goal.
But we arent pressing them as much as used to and im a big fav of 442 as i think gives you width and chance to get crosses over, we should have Manu and Murphy as wingers and take off Crofts.
