Why not start Best, instead starting a player who doesn't want to be here, has a deal agreed in principal elsewhere, and we signed a replacement for him yesterday. Baffles me.
Nice reverse psychology there.

Only if he's backed financially. That means the permanent signing of some quality players, not a team cobbled together out of freebies and loan signings. He may well get us to mid-table security this season but if he's not allowed to bring in some decent players in the summer we'll more than likely be treading water next season as well.
