Rubbishing the UK? Did I vote for a narrow English nationalist government that put a customs border within it, you carry on pal....

Yes, you really need to be more supportive of our patriotic government Nick

If you attack the Vote Leave cabal, its an attack on the UK apparently

.... but here are real benefits of Brexit - just not for the UK.

'People who voted for Brexit in 2016, and again in 2019, were sold promises of benefits everywhere. The reality, as predicted by actual experts, is that there are no benefits for those who voted for it. There have been some benefits for our neighbours in the EU. British business has moved to Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and so on. Northern Ireland is doing well because it is uniquely placed to export, hassle free, to both the EU and Britain. But Britain itself has just erected trade barriers that provide no benefits at all'.

Not anymore.

There will be NSC banning for labelling, dehumanising, dividing, belittling etc. so no one will be calling anyone a traitor et al. in the future.

…and frequently repeated poisonous mantras such as ‘fifth columnist’. Goodbye and good riddance.

Here we go! Brexit Britain readies for 'five-star' year of trade – EU watches on with envy

BRITAIN will unveil its plan for a "five-star" year of trade today, as ministers prepare to seize the huge opportunities from a "seismic shift" on the world stage. Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan will this afternoon set out her plan to boost trade with countries worth £140billion in the next 12 months.

In 2022 the UK will launch trade talks with India, Mexico, Canada, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, while also on track to secure accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).Speaking at the Margaret Thatcher Conference on Trade Secretary the minister will unveil her plan to use future trade deals to increase job opportunities across the UK and help Boris Johnson's levelling up agenda.

Honestly I think sometimes some people who used to work for Pravda would look at the Daily Express these days and think "blimey, this lot are boot-lickers".

Yes, here we go. You have vast experience working in the Financial Sector right?. Instead of wasting your life in The Bear Pit, why not use your experience to educate people on the main forum on how to invest their money.

I'm still waiting for the Snow the Express promised me last week.

Didn't specialise in the financial sector, although I did work for some of the big financial organisations. I gave this investment advice a year ago on this thread on the main forum

Tattoo Removal Parlours and Dutch Warehousing. Trust me

Hope you took the advice, tattoo removal always good long term investment and Dutch Warehousing has had an unprecedented boom in the last year as a result of UK companies moving operations across the channel since Brexit

Geordie Greig has been replaced as Editor of The Daily Mail. Expect a lurch to the right from the new editor, The Mail was becoming increasingly critical of Johnson in recent weeks..... Now this happens?

Now we know why Paul Dacre stepped back from wanting to be head of Ofcom. He’s gone back to the Daily Mail!

Government will be relieved, far better to spread hate and division than have a newspaper expose corruption and incompetence

I know it's been a couple of days that you have been considering these alternatives which will allow us to move on, but I do think it's best to take your time and consider the implications. After all, the last thing anyone would want is for you to come back with some stupid proposal that hasn't been thought through, like the Northern Ireland Protocol, Import requirements, Financial services 'solutions' that Johnson came up with, persuaded you all to vote for, signed off and then realised they were completely unimplementable

Because we all want the same thing now, to simply move on. So it's important we have some solutions that will actually work and that won't entail Johnson re-opening the whole Brexit negotiations again.

I'm just wondering, do you have any idea how long it will take, though ?

If it helps, I know from his post here that Chicken Run has been thinking about solutions to the NI problem for a year now. Maybe you could get together on it, as they say two minds are better than one

I've been in Jordan for the last three weeks, but give us another week or so and I'll see if I can be arsed.
