Makes you wonder who’s next right?

Get Covid out the way and I wonder how many natives start to become a little restless, my money on Italy.

The worst thing that can happen for the EU (and their disciples on this thread) is the UK succeeding and prospering showing there is an alternative to ever closer union/more EU. It's inevitable it will fracture at some point.

Obviously, we can discount the views of the #teameu crew on here when it comes to passing judgement on the trade deal but a more neutral assessment can be found elsewhere.

The votes from the Norwegian jury are in ..

“The UK has now reached an agreement that gives them more freedom and more independence” .. “the British have a better agreement than the EEA. They get access to the internal market and the common trade that is desirable, but they do not have to be part of a dynamic regulatory development that places strong ties on the individual countries’ national policies. …The most difficult thing for Norway is that we are bound in areas that are national policy, and that it happens in more and more areas. The British have now taken back this authority, and it is extremely interesting”. - Marit Arnstad, parliamentary leader of Norway’s Centre Party

“because the British escape the European Court of Justice. Then they are no longer subject to EU supremacy and must not accept any EU legislation in the future as we must. This agreement is qualitatively different and safeguards national sovereignty in a better way than the EEA does for us”. - Heming Olaussen, leader of the Norwegian Socialist Party’s EEA committee.

I think Norway's Centre Party understand the agreement even less than you JC...

I'm far more worried about the Union of the UK fracturing than the Union of Europe. They don't have a customs border with it and a member that will shortly be demanding another Independence referendum.

It's that sort of complacency that led to one of the major cash cows jumping ship. Will you ever learn?

The UK is still is a cash cow for Europe, nice trade surplus on goods, zero tariffs and no quotas. They got they what they wanted and can now pick off our services business

Well done Boris and your crew

There is fish I guess, one day.....

Marvelous scenes in the House with labour eating large amounts of humble pie and Blackford acting like the EU loons on here, as for the Lid Dems a total non entity so no change there

Surely s/he cannot be giving a thumbs to you as well! I know her/his posts are generally 'off the wall' but I now suspect s/he is incapable of high seriousness.....
S/he obviously is unlikely to be affected by the changes in the pipeline and so has the luxury of scoffing.....

Bit last century and rude lever, try and be a bit more progressive.
If you are unsure of someone's pronouns, as you clearly are, why don't you just ask instead of attempting to guess.

Your typically edgy intervention and inspired advice are both noted.
