big crash / holdup on A27 at Shoreham bypass?

I'm heading East through there shortly (hopefully). There's not many alternative routes from here (Storrington).

I normally go through there about 4 each afternoon. I heard on the radio it was shut before 4 by the Manor roundabout, but they didn't say which way!
I cut down through E Worthing and went along the coast road toward Shoreham. Eastbound was OK, but long tailbacks heading west through Lancing.
