Anyway, I have just been reading the ASK THE CLUB thingy on Burgess, it was asked when can we expect to hear from BB if he wants to sign for us. Insider replies with, "I don't think that is the reason it is ongoing." Now, I may be reading way too much into it, but is it possible to DEDUCE from this that Burgess has AGREED to the move and wants to come here, but the situation is still ongoing due to something else, most likely us trying to haggle over the transfer fee? As I said, maybe my hope has blinded me, but if you read the question and answer, then it is not the simplest reply the insider could have given.
