One that always used to make me laugh for no apparent reason was at Gillingham back in the days when we played there. At the opposite end of the ground to us was an advertising hoarding for "Mr Ham Man"

Not a sign really but I posted on here a while back.

My favourite was the SCOPE poster at Preston Park Station that pictured a bloke in a wheelchair with the Tagline:

"A year ago he was stuck in this chair, today he will take his first steps unaided"

Beneath which was the graffiti- "Tomorrow he signs for the Albion"

Thats actually the funniest thing ive seen in ages, guess it is gone now?

Not quite a 'sign' exactly... but it used to make me smile at Withdean, in the days before Kuipers sorted his kicking out, that there was an advert on the side of the pitch for a firm which said "Rubbish Clearance".

Behind one of the stands at Craven Cottage, in the 'food and beverage plaza', was a sign for a 'Meal Deal' @ £4

What did the 'Meal Deal' consist of?

A 500ml. bottle of Coke, a packet of crisps and a Mars bar

On the A259 going down the hill from Seaford to The Golden Galleon there was a burnt out car on the grass bank next to the road that had obviously caught fire and been moved by the FB, on which some wag had placed a handwritten sign saying, 'FOR SALE - ONE CAREFUL OWNER...' Pissed myself

Not a football one but in my doctor's surgery there's a sign for a help group saying "Are you a survivor of suicide? If so join our group call blah blah..........

There no such thing as a survivor of suicide!

High up on the South Downs.
I wandered into the gents after the Leeds defeat to be faced by a sign above the urinal listing all the dire illnesses and conditions that cause premature death for middle-aged men like myself. Just what was needed!

Not technically adept enough to do links but look up Landegley International Airport. The road sign actually exists and if you google earth it you'll get the full picture.
