5-4-3-2-1 and Do-Wah-Diddy may sound a little embarrassing now, but the likes of Pretty Flamingo, Oh No Not My Baby, Semi-Detached Suburban Mr James and My Name Is Jack are superbly stellar little pop songs, and then some...
And Dylan rated them alongside The Byrds as best interpreters of his songs (despite one of their members' first response being: "This Dylan writes some great songs, but why does he get such a lousy singer to sing them?" I'm paraphrasing, of course - slightly...)
Then again, though, Paul Jones's replacement Mike D'Abo was well and truly OWNED by Christopher Morris on On The Hour...
