In a pile of football shirts
Where-ever he ends up, let's hope it is for more than an 18 month contract. Otherwise, we will know exactly where BHA stand in the wages pecking order.

If he gets an 18 month contract at say, Gillingham, then we know that we offered less money than those pikeys. Same goes for wherever he ends up, it could be quite telling. DK regulalrly tells us that he offers good wages for this level of football. What will it tell us if Orient or Gillingham end up offering him more? :nono:

The title of this thread is probably what DK will be saying when he wakes up from his afternoon snooze on New Years Day.

Don't you think he's looking tired?

If he goes to mansfield then he can't play against us as he's cup tied.

He'll be on the dole and only a TV pundit when we take on man Utd in the 4th round!

he's no way god enough for the likes of leeds, reckon orient or gillingham are the most obvious takers.

Are we gonna depend on revell or elder to partner forster or are DK/DW lining up replacement. The later I hope

Meopham, Kent.
I'd be amazed if he has turned down our contract offer without having something else concrete lined up ....... but then again, I thought the same about Bertin in the summer.

Everybody's high on consolation
Everybody's trying to tell me what's right for me
My daddy tried to bore me with a sermon
but it's plain to see that they can't comfort me

Sorry Charlie for the imposition
I think I've got it, got the strength to carry on
I need a drink and a quick decision
Now it's up to me, ooh what will be

Chorus:
He's Gone Oh I, Oh I'd
better learn how to face it
He's Gone Oh I, Oh I'd
pay the devil to replace him
He's Gone - what went wrong

Up in the morning look in the mirror
I'm worn as a tooth brush hanging in the stand
my face ain't looking any younger
now I can see Bas has taken his toll on me

He's Gone

Think I'll spend eternity in the city
let the carbon and monoxide choke my thoughts away
and pretty bodies help dissolve the memories
but they can never be what he was to me

He's Gone

Sorry, I don't really feel that, it's just the earlier post reminded me of the song - duly amended.

On a serious note Al how do you feel about the whole situation as I know you had struck up a friendship with Bas?
