Doubt it was anything to do with Murray, unless a private joke. People seem to forget that Glenn is probably still good friends with a fair few of our squad (and I imagine Ash is one of those) and they don't see the rivalry with Palace in the same way we do. Particularly as he's not from or ever supported Brighton.

Maybe it's a prediction in Roman numerals for how many goals he'll get this season... I wish.
