Only just noticed this thread.
Sorry if posted already but my old mate Ringo (a season ticket holder at the Goldstone and Withdean) has an online radio show a couple of times a month which you might enjoy. It sounds like what it is: him playing tunes in his living room whilst drinking too much red wine but he's got a monumental collection. Mostly classic roots and culture but ranges across the genre. All the back episodes are available here: http://crytough.com

Thanks for this. New discovery for me and having just listened to the latest show ( by Stephen T) and cast a brief eye over the playslists, I'll be downloading plenty of these for listening back at work  Some real gems in that first show and I like how the shows dig deep into the box rather than just playing all the well known tunes.

As a small thank you back. Not sure if you're aware of Jeff Sarge on WFMU? You can't download his shows unfortunately, but he has a long old list of show archives that always make for nice listening - http://wfmu.org/playlists/RS

He puts a lot of thought into the selections. Don't miss the Bunny Lee interview: bizarrest thing him texting me a photo of the big man lounging on his sofa in Camberwell.
Not seen those shows before so thanks. I'll be investigating

Hi all,

Haven't posted to the thread in a while, so hope everyone's well!!

Just thought I'd let you know that the Ska-Beat-Soul weekly radio show is still going strong & made its debut on YouTube last week! So if you like your early reggae strictly vinyl, while taking the p*** out of my big nose & tank-top, then click on the link below! (Skip the first couple of minutes & the video will appear!)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wi6X_2Q39fI

Keep the brilliant links coming as well !
Cheers
Paul
