Badfish, im playing the roots mix (again) thats immediately before your question. It sounds ideal to me, so recommend it.

Yes I listened to that when I got home and thought it was excellent, I will give it a whirl tomorrow!

Vintage Dance (Line-In audio) with thanks to WCTD

King Sturmars @ Love People ShackLawn, 7a Lissant Road, Kingston, December 1985

http://www.sendspace.com/file/yayhxx

SingleTrack
1h 31m 30s

U. Brown, Super Cat, Buro Banton,Cutty Ranks, Ricky Tuffy

Selectors – Ainsley & DannyDread

"This recording stars King Sturmars at the Love Shack Lawn on Lissant Road in the heart of downtown Kingston. Nicodemus may be missing but with U. Brown, Apache Cat and Buro present there is still an abundance of experience to be heard. Cat is as forthright as ever, fearing no-one on "Dem A No Problem" and "Me No Afraid". Buro's out to "Rule Every Sound" while U. Brown doesn't forget the culture, quoting some of the seminal "Satta" lyrics. Sturmars also have some cracking specials in their dub cases and we catch exclusive tunes from DeltonScreechy, Johnny Osbourne and a brace from Tenor Saw, "When Stereo LickThem" and "Pack Up Your Sound".

Rodigan is rough..and will always love him. Heard some nice new dubs KingTafariLove in Brighton now have, when I was home last weekend....particularly a Turbulance, anyway...

This a dubplate mix from Sentinel from Stuttgart, of their dubs when they won the 2005 World Clash in New York, shocking everybody...participants, Sentinel (DE), Bass Odyssey (JA), Black Kat (JA), Immortal (UK), DesertStorm (CAN), Mighty Crown (JPN).

Barry G v David Rodigan - Radio Clash 85

40m 01s

Sadly, only a snippet. This is the show remembered as the 'Sleng Teng' clash, and
this covers that rhythms part of the show.
First time we (KingTafariLove) played 'SlengTeng' was in a packed blues dance
by Preston Park...seeing the peoples reaction, I realised that was the end of reggae
as I knew it, and we had really entered the digital age.
