We needed this, much better to learn and develop how we set up in September.

Solly is going to go back into that ' crisis of confidence' shell. Poor control when through on goal and what on earth was he doing with that header?

It gets worse for him as VAR somehow fails to spot the rugby block on him in the build up to the own goal.

Just maybe this result could be good for us. Over the last 3 weeks every media source you can think of has been blowing smoke up our arses. Potential Champions League winners and our farts smell of roses! Were we in danger of believing our own publicity?

What doesn't kill you, makes you more strong. RDZ will give them a rocket and the senior players will have plenty to say. We write this off just like Everton last season and we move on.
Exactly my thoughts before today. Brilliantly put.

Yep. Mitoma usually poor defensively too. First goal he lost his runner
And March misses a sitter having been f***ing useless beforehand

Adingra and Fati on for the second half please

We are going to lose this but let’s give us some hope of a goal

Very interesting that emery was very very relaxed before the game. Almost arrogant. Didn't give Brighton much respect.

He completely has de zerbis number and should be the manager on the real shortlist !! Absolute class act.

Not enough protection for the back 4 from our midfield. And such a shocking VAR decision to allow the 3rd goal.

Good goal from watkins. Dodgy shin pass from Veltman, unlucky hit against Estupinian. Besides that and the villa curse we've been ok
Haha the Black Knight lives
