But when you think that he is what, 23? And isn't predominantly used as a striker, he always pops up with goals!

What I like about Barnes is all the other work he does for the team apart from scoring and is a great player to have on the pitch when you are under a bit of defensive pressure.

Thought he played really well yesterday. Took his goal well and played the main frontman role well after CMS went off chasing down everything.

Can't believe he still has to win over any fans but sadly I think there will be some people who will always not like him for their own reasons. My view is he has been fantastic since signing and is incredible value for the relatively small fee we paid for him.

Like you say though, he's not even used as a striker half the time (although he has taken a few penalties). It's a great return.
