Just far enough away from LDC
Sopar - Upper St James' Street. Good to have a few beers at hand in hand first

Not Thai but Japanese - Pompoko. Best restaurant in all of Brighton. Yes, I said it.

cant recommened on in Brighton but Thai Connection in Hove is very good, lots of nice fish dishes you dont often see in 'normal' restaurants, Sea Bass is Tamarind sauce mmmmmmm

If we're now going outside Brighton, Thirteen Church Street in Storrington is an exceptional Thai restaurant.

I can vouch for that.

Red Snapper is superb - fantastic set menu for £20 a head that just keeps on giving. It culminates in a whole baked/steamed sea bas that is superb.

little buddah is ok, but not great. red snapper i think has moved to waterloo street.
