The only legal way to have your entire fund out tax free is to die. Any other "schemes" are ilegal. Steer well clear.

I am an IFA based in Worthing.
I presume that you are talking about a QROP arrangement?

A QROP will not be approved if it purports to allow the whole fund to be taken as a lump sum. That is why all Singapore QROPS were removed overnight from the approved list. As I said there is no legal way of achieving this unless you had a right to take greater than 25% of the fund on 5th April 2006, in which case you retained that right.

Any other "schemes" which spring up now and again are illegal and are tax evasion for which the penalties are severe.

Believe me I know what I am talking about.

Any ex pat should consult a specialist adviser or check out HMRC website. There are currently 38 pages of approved QROP schemes

Indeed. And none of them will allow an individual to take the whole fund tax free so be careful. There are some unscrupulous people operating in this area. Always ensure your adviser is regulated and independent.

Okay guys once the scheme is released i will let you know
We are a firm of Chartered Accountants and would not do anything that is either illegal or unethical.
What we offer is a new way that takes advantage of a loophole and HMRC are fully informed of the scheme as it is all totally legal.

There are many people out there who believe such schemes are illegal but every scheme we use are dotas registered with HMRC and since we have been involved we have used many stamp duty and corporation tax schemes all above board and all succesfull.
I dont know where Driver8 gets his info but he is totally incorrect.

I work as a contractor dealing in mis-sold financial services products, so send me the details so I can read up and prepare for the fallout and cash in!!!

Only kidding, I am sure it is all above board.

I don't "get my info" from anywhere. I am a practising Chartered IFA with over 25 years experience. I have seen these "schemes" come and go (usually in a messy way) many times over the years. They usually involve some artificial employment or some such device. I'm sure you are aware that HMRC have the ability to see though such devices and that the tax charge on unauthorised payments is up to 82%. Anyway, as I say be careful people and any IFA wishing to use this I suggest you ensure your PI cover is up to date.

All i can say is that with all the tax strategy schemes that we have introduced to our clients they are all DOTAS registered meaning they are all registered with HMRC and all legal.
We take advantage of loopholes in legislation and they are regularly legislated against. Why Legislate-because they work.
There will always be people out there who think it is too good to be true and these schemes are not made for them but in business you should always offer your clients the best advice and let them decide for themselves so if we did not give our clients the option then we sould not be giving them the best advice.

Personally I do not find this kind of practise ethical but each to their own. I look forward to reading about this in the financial press in the future.

Freedom SIPP also thought they had found a loophole. You may like to Google them.

Just to inform anyone who may be interested i now have full details of the scheme and it is open to all ages and you will get all your fund out tax free, unlike Freedom Sipp mentioned above none of your cash will be under threat as you will have it all out tax free to do with as you like and not stuck in some pension pot with restrictions on what you can do with your money.
From today it is even better as you now need to be over 55 to get 25% out tax free and we can get you the full fund at any age.

There are always people out there who will knock these schemes and there are many companies out there whose schemes will not work but we only deal with the best in the market and they only deal with Chartered accountants and have an amazing due diligence team.
So far everything we have put through has worked and our clients are very very happy.
There will always be those who miss out on opportunities in life.
