The A27 is not Lewes Road though is it.
Thats the A270 - to the WEST of the stadium.

The confusion is clearly because some people are referring to the A27 as "Lewes Road".
It isn't. Lewes Road comes up out of Brighton as the A270 and JOINS the A27. But I know of no soul who actually calls the A27 "Lewes Road". Well, not till just now anyway.
Depends where you're travelling from.
If Woodingdean, then it's the south stand... or is it the north?

If the question is "which stand is closer to the A27 ?", then you can take your pick of the north or the east and argue the toss. The west don't come into it.
