Here's one with the green roofs. Presumably this dates from a bit before your photo, prior to the decision to drop the green roofs.

That's known as "green bling" in planning circles. Very often appears on plans, very rarely appears on roofs.

Its been gradually deteriorating for a while now, I can remember having a grizzle about this exact thing at least a couple of years ago. I've no idea how much those corrugated plastic roof panels are to replace, but TB clearly doesn't feel its a priority and its his money tbf.

Its surprising how much they've faded though. Huddersfields are still blue, although I dunno if their roofs are transluscent, or if they've had a spruce up. This pic appeared with an article just after they'd secured promotion.

How do you know that picture was recent at the time?

Perhaps we can get the roof sorted at the same time as getting the North Stand expanded...Oh! has that expansion been mentioned on here?

Top of the police box (? - that little control room thing that over hangs the west end of the north stand) could do with a good wash, too. Probably a thorough sweep would be enough.

How do you know that picture was recent at the time?

I don't, could just be a stock photo. Fairly sure their roofs are still blue though, not washed-out browny-grey like ours.
