His first touch, his close control, his calmness under pressure... thats building blocks for a top top player

I didn't think he would make the step up to the 1st team, I was wrong, very wrong. He keeps delivering excellent performances and deserves his place. He (like Connolly) still has a lot to learn and doesn't get everything right but the signs are good.

Also felt he faded a bit towards the end.

Don't beat yourself up about it - nurturing footballing talent is never an exact science, and players can turn from one extreme to another with a change of manager, who may or may not believe in them. But it is looking very promising.
