I know that but this boy looks a cut above if he were to get 6 goals and a few assists it’ll take a hell of an effort to keep him at the club

If we can get an offer of £70M+ after a full, good season for us then perhaps - but he hasn't even kicked a ball for us yet!

Strong hold-up play from Adolfo Gaich in the build up as well, not for the first time in one of these U23 clips; looks like one worth keeping an eye on

PPF would love that. Finally a name worth putting on his replica shirt (to wear in the pub, obviously)

Didn’t everyone also say the same about Baluta?

Just give him a chance to settle first.

Like a Baldock role or more of a Mooy or a Trossard?or do we reckon Trossard and MacA either side of Maupay with Propper Stephens Mooy behind..?

According to Tim Vickery he needs to be played centrally to get the best out of him. He poses a goal threat from range and also ha a knack for bursting past the strikers to get into the box. Perhaps at the tip of the diamond in a 442 or, more likely, the central player in 4231. If we return to 3 at the back other possibilities arise.

Quite a different level to Baluta in fairness.

Alexis already holding it down as a key player for Boca Juniors and playing as a full international for Argentina at 20 years old. You don’t do that as a player without having something special about you.

Tudor hasn’t played good club level yet.

Agree. There is cause to be hopeful Ally Mac can make a meaningful impact this season. Won't get on his case if not though

Though excelled in the Toulon tournament which generated the normal NSC overreaction.

The fact that the numbers 2 and 10 are free for Lamptey and Ally Mac is surely a sign of great things to come. Give an Argentinian the number 10 shirt and you'll get extra from him, no question.
