So Enzo being signed for 105m only played 70 odd games in lessor leagues where Mac A has already played over 80 in the EPL more internationals etc he must be worth 130m

How sexist that you couldn’t concentrate on her interviewing and journalistic skills…
Wait for it……..

I know I would.
Agreed. She’s definitely fit. Probably really good in the sack too, I bet loads of blokes have been with her, but that shouldn’t be the first and only thing people think when observing her.

All the technicians run forward to help.
Yes sound engineers well known for only being able to count to two. Seems appropriate here though one-two-one-two

Can I just say that if anyone at the club had the right to give it the big I am, Billy big bollocks throughout the window it's the one who won the world cup 2 weeks before it opened. However his behaviour, attitude and level of respect shown to the club has been outstanding. Whenever he does leave, wherever he goes I will always admire this guy and wish him well.

He's been an absolute model pro. Even if he leaves in the summer, he deserves our respect for that. (I know he's likely to leave in the summer, but I keep hoping that the prospect of forming a midfield partnership with Facundo Buonanotte that could endure for club and country could be enough to tempt him to stay. Unlikely, but stranger things have happened.)

City being linked with Mac Allister...

Manchester City have identified Alexis Mac Allister as a potential successor to Ilkay Gundogan, according to reports in Spain.
Gundogan's current contract with the Blues expires this summer, with the lack of progression over a new deal leading to speculation that the midfielder could call time on an eight-year spell at the Etihad. The 32-year-old continues to catch eyes in Barcelona with the Spanish side having failed to land him last year.
As part of a contingency plan for losing their club captain, those in charge at City are exploring potential successors that can be snapped up efficiently in the off-season. And according to Fichajes, Pep Guardiola's side have decided on Brighton's Mac Allister as the first choice.

Translation of part of the Fichajes article:

The Catalan coach is a fan of the game of the Argentine midfielder, which was an important piece for his team to win the Qatar 2022 World Cup and which is a vital piece within Brighton and Hove Albion with Roberto De Zerbi.
Alexis Mac Allister is a soccer player who stands out for his technical quality, ability to play between the lines and creativity. He knows the positional game well due to his work with Roberto de Zerbi and has a lot of experience in the Premier League, so his adaptation will be quick.
The Argentine ends his contract with Brighton in the summer of 2025 and its price is around 40 million euros, so it would not be such a high operation and it would make it easier for the club to invest in other areas of the field such as defense and attack.

Predicted on here last summer that City would be in for him. He’s the perfect City player and ideal replacement for Gundogan but could also play the Rodri, Bernardo Silva and KDB roles.

As City proved with Grealish they will pay big money if they really want a player. That should be the benchmark.

Lovely moment yesterday when his fellow countryman Buonanotte was coming off the bench. Mac was sitting behind the subs benches looking anxiously on like a proud father
I heard someone say that Mac Allister was with Buonanotte before he came on perhaps translating as they reviewed tactics board.

They should have bid last summer. Going to cost them a lot more now.
