This Sunday, 15th August, a match is taking place to raise money for teenager George Dowell who was paralysed after being involved in a car accident.
George was a key member of Alan Herberts very successful Worthing United Youth team. He had more recently made his break into senior football, making appearances for the Worthing United First and Reserve teams.
The match takes place at Worthing United FC, Lyons Farm, Worthing (Behind Sainsburys) kick off being at 12 o'clock.
The match will be played between George's team-mates, and a Brighton XI, rumoured to be featuring Guy Butters, Danny Cullip, John Keeley, among others, and maybe even Gus himself!
Admission by donation. Bar and food will be available.
