Albion under Coppell 2002-2003

Kuipers

Watson Ingimarsson Blackwell Cullip Mayo

Carpenter Sidwell Rodger

Zamora Barrett

Subs: Brooker, Hart, Jones, Hinshelwood, Beasant

Compare that team to the one we have now and you'll see we're far weaker now than then. Last night was like the bad , bad days of Martin Tinselwood - abolsutely clueless. So can MM pick them up? Can he restore Harding's and Virgo's confidence? Can he make them better players like Steve Coppell did with Kerry Mayo?

It's early days but we're going to need to get Blackwell and Rodger back sharpish plus one or two others in if we're going to have a realistic chance of staying up.

I was just about to start a thread under the title of" Reality Check" with all the things you have just said, and you are spot on with all your comments,we are a far weaker team now than we were then, and I dont mean any disrespect to the players we have now.
Lets just enjoy going to some quality grounds and playing against some really good teams, and if we stay up,then that will be a bonus.
