The last one was pretty bad as well.

Today's final was 90 minutes of two teams trying not to score, they even seemed to be time wasting when it got to penalties.

I rest my case on the question of the unsatisfactory nature of the penalty shoot out. I don't like the Golden goal or such like. There should be a replay/s.

the african nations has lost a bit of its charm. it's too frequent, most of the games are played in stadiums with little atmosphere and worst of all a lot of the teams have abandoned their natural flair for a more cynical approach
