let Root get his century then declare and get at them again before lunch or pile the runs up till lunch then make it impossible to lose.

2-1 up with three days to go in this test. There is no need to declare. They can bat as long as they wish.

Think we should bat for as long as we possibly can. If, for no other reason, than at least then there is a chance that people that have bought day 4 tickets might get to see some cricket!

Never out! Broad's glove was way off the bat when it hit him :nono:

Ah well, 463/9 lead of 315

Umpires are firing out England batsmen seeing as India can't get them out! :lolol:

Just the 486 then....

That reminded me of the dismissal of Mark Kasprovicz at Edgbaston in 2005. Little was made of the replay which actually showed that the Harmison delivery made contact with his glove when it was not forming part of the bat.

Had we been using the DRS system during that match the destiny of The Ashes may have been very different.

That's a very interesting one. Lots was not made of it at the time because many players simply didn't seem to know. Kasprowicz presumably thought he was out. In the circumstances if DRS had existed they would almost certainly have appealed just on the off chance and the umpires would have given not out.
