You, sir, are obviously a man who drank in the pubs in Worthing when they were proper pubs not the rubbish that is there now.

In the 60s there were many fine pubs most of which have been slagged on here like; The Clifton, The Jolly Brewers, The Central,
The Downview. Hare & Hounds, Dragoon, The Railway (Lennox). These were all pubs for drinkers not to listen to bands and such rubbish if you wanted to listen to a band you went to a club like The Mexican Hat.

Th good old threads of NSC - bringing back memeories but in the 6-7 years Worthings pubs seemd to have reduced and changed yet again

On my most recent trip to Worthing over Easter great to see a re emergence of some great bars in the case of the Wandering Goose and the libertine. About time
