According to the Daily Star BRIGHTON have been fined £5,000 after failing to keep control of their players in the Carling Cup match against Gillingham

That takes the piss. There was nothing worth disciplining for in todays game!? If that's the standard set, then surely a superior majority of matches played week-in week-out would face some sort of disciplinary action albeit the usual red and yellow cards the referee makes.

Assume that was for the altercation after their player assaulted Vincelot. If so thats just rubbing salt into the wounds that the ref didn't send him off.
