Our last 46 league games...

Code:
[b] Pld W D L F A Pts +/-
Brighton 46 9 19 18 44 66 46 -22[/b]

Last season we would have been stuffed but three seasons ago we almost stayed up on the last day with 45... Would 46 be enough?...

???

It could be as there seem to be more teams involved this time round. Would not feel comfortable with anything less than the magic 50 though.

Yes, because us and Coventry have been drawing a lot of games, taking 4 points away from the other teams.

My old Dad used to say we always get more points after Christmas than before it.
Quite a bit of truth in that. Other teams start well and bottle it. We take our time and finish better.

Looking a lot tighter at the bottom now.

Was worried that a gap would start but still six/seven of us in the shit at the moment.

Still think we will finish mid table. Look at Hull...sinking faster than the Belgrano

Ahh, the old 'tortoise and hare' theory eh. Slowly slowly catchy monkey. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, and a leopard never changes its spots.

I'll stop there actually.

Not at such short notice. And I'm a bit distracted at the moment.

If w'ere averaging 46 points a season - then on the positive side - don't need to improve very much to make it to 50 points plus - 46 points is much better than 26!

There definitely look to be some winnable games during the rest of 2005 - home games against struggling teams and local'ish away games - 30 points on board by the time we play Southampton ...

2 points could be a big difference though

fact is we need to turn these draws into wins

The problem is Yorkie ... all those great Albion players from 1958 have now retired ....
