Hales gone... fishing :nono:

Another good catch for Pakistan.. low down at 2nd slip by Younis off Amir

AD Hales c Younis Khan b Mohammad Amir 54 (131b 10x4 0x6) SR: 41.22

England 126-2-2, leading by 23.

Pakistan on top... needs some decent batting from Root, Vince, Ballance et al to get England out of a hole here.

51 partnership for Root 28*(73) and Vince 20*(64) :clap2:

Gritty effort against a very tight Pakistan attack bowling to a 7-2 field... just 10 runs from the last 12 overs... England 177-2 (61.1 overs), leading by 73.

Current partnership 51 runs, 21.4 overs, RR: 2.35 (Vince 20, Root 28)

Amazing graphic on Sky there - EVERY ball bowled by a seamer this morning to England's right handers missing the stumps.

and not a single ball down the leg side. Impressive control, but perhaps a bit negative taking 2 key methods of dismissal out of the equation?

Yes I am. Real ebb and flow about the game, England now in a good place but a couple of quick wickets and Pakistan would be on top again.

Root gone :nono:

Sweeping, gentle top edge lobs to Hafeez at short leg off Yasir

221-3 (75.1) and new ball due soon with the lead just 118... Pakistan will have their tails up...

Vince now has to keep the runs ticking over as Ballance gets his eye in.
