Ah - thank you for that, that makes a lot of sense. I did of course, look up other sources than Transfermarkt after #chrisg pointed out my error - all of which confirmed 2026, but I admit my first post was based on what I looked up on Transfermarkt.

Yeah it's a bit confusing but if you look in the profile data part it says both contract ends dates
