Ok odd sauce just looking at the Bristol City forum and they say we are looking at Richard keogh from Derby. Can't see it being true as Newcastle are looking at him with reports that he will cost £4m

He made about 100 appearances for Derby in 2 seasons, then just 7 league apps last year. Still their captain. Was he injured last year?

If we are in the market for another experienced CB, what about going for Hanley of Blackurn? Can buy him for £4m apparently, Venkys want to sell him. Isn't he friends with Greer as both in the Scotland team? Only 23?

Can't see Keogh going anywhere for that amount, half it then maybe .... trouble is at 1m it priced us out of it anyway

You're probably correct on both points. I'd still rather spend £2m on goalscorer though.

Soccerbase is far more reliable for appearance stats than Wikipedia, Keogh made started 45 league games last season.
