Absolutely - I'd be surprised if we don't have 3000 or more.

Similarly demand from Albion fans will only peak if there is a guarantee the game means something for us.

First day of tickets being available to "normal" season ticket holders (ie just 1,000 points) and we've already got 2,000 going.
I'd agree that we could sell out 3,000 even if the game was just about pride and the best position outside of the top 6.

Obviously, I'm going because we will be celebrating our play off spot being secure.

"This game is currently unavailable to purchase." Possibly suggesting there maybe more to come in the future?

Regulations: http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20130704/section-5-fixtures_2293633_2125729
34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club's certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The Executive may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time

Forest Certified Capacity 30,445 http://www.football-league.co.uk/clubs/20130815/nottingham-forest_2293498_691830

Theoretical Allocation
So we're entitled to 3,044 and a half seats unless Forest have applied for and been granted a dispensation.

Actual Allocation
It would appear Forest have done just that: http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/Rams-retaliate-Forest-cut-ticket-allocation/story-19753774-detail/story.html#ixzz2z9kjX0o0
Asked about the allocation, a Nottingham Forest spokesman said: "The away fans are still behind the goal where they usually are but the allocation is smaller so they don't take up as much of the area. That's across the board. Every club that visits this year will get 2,002 tickets."

Conclusion
2002 is all we get and they've all been sold.

Think you need to read the FL rules again, it is at least (but not necessarily more than) 2000 assuming your ground capacity is above 20K. The 10% only comes into play, for example like at Withdean, when the ground capacity means that 2000 would be more than 10%.

Withdean = 8000 capacity, hence 10% meant that the away crowd allocation was 800.

What an incredibly dim person I am ... didn't need quite so many of you to point it out though.

Bit shit from Forest to be honest. If they are not going to sell out, then it is just encouraging lots of Brighton fans to buy tickets in the home end.

If anyone has a Forest ticket that they don't want, my sons mate would love to go. We have all got tickets, but he was below the points allocation unfortunately. PM me if you have one more than needed.

Bugger. Always go to Forest away, and indeed any last awayday fixture no matter where it is.
Interesting that this year Forest has sold out when it never has before when I've been, wonder what's made so many new people want to make the trip.
