There is only one party that is anti semitic

It didn't start with these. It has been going on for centuries. For the sake of space and time i have limited to the 20th century to the present day.

1) British Brothers League. 1902. Antisemitic, anti-immigrant group formed by Captain William Stanley Shaw and Conservative MPs William Evans-Gordon and Samuel Forde-Ridley.

2) British Fascisti. First group in Britain to self-define as fascist. Stewarded and canvassed for the Conservative Party. Included Tory members like future MP Patrick Hannon.

3) Britain Union of Fascists. Major anti-semitic fascist group who regularly goose stepped through the East End chalking “Perish Judah” onto synagogues and intimidating Jews. Total ****ing pricks. Donors included Conservative peers and ministers such as Wyndham Portal, Henry Drummond Wolff and W. E. Allen.

4) January Club. A front organisation for the British Union of Fascists. Included many Conservative members.

5) The Liberators. Private “Nazi army’ set up by Conservative MP for Tottenham North, Edward Doran in 1933.

6) The Link. Pro-Nazi organisation set up in 1937 with supporters including Conservative MP Sir Lambert Ward.

7) The Right Club. Far-right group set up by Conservative MP, Captain Archibald Maule Ramsay in 1939 to rid the “Conservative Party of Jewish control”.

8) The Monday Club. Conservative group founded in 1961 with strong links to the fascist National Front, more recently seen seig heiling on the streets of Dover.

9) Fast forward to 2009. David Cameron breaks with a centre-right political group in the European Parliament to form a new “anti-federalist” bloc called the European Conservatives and Reformists. The group includes the Latvian For Fatherland and Freedom party whose members regularly participate in an annual march to remember Latvian-SS Legion vets in Riga. In 2014 the group also votes to admit the far-right Danish People's Party and the far-right True Finns, two parties riddled with islamophobes and anti-semites.

10) 2011. Bunch of Oxford toffs in the University Conservative Association sing Nazi songs at 10 grand “port and policy” night.

11) 2013. Jacob Rees-Mogg eats dinner with the extreme right Traditional Britain Group.

12) 2014. Tory MP Adian Burley enjoys a Nazi stag party

13) 2014. MP Patrick Mercer resigns after saying a female soldier looked like a 'bloody Jew'.

14) 2015. Tory Council candidate Gulzabeen Afsal says she won't support “the Jew” Ed Miliband.

15) 2015. Conservative party run an entire campaign using Crosby-style coded racism to describe Jewish Labour party leader Ed Miliband as a "back-stabbing" "North London" klutz that can't eat a bacon sandwich.

If you want to dig up ancient history...the Tories had a Jewish prime minister, in the 19th century, and Margaret Thatcher had a lot of Jews in her cabinet and government.

But the past is not the issue here. The issue is the views of the man (and those of his acolytes) who would be leader of our country.

So which idiot are you? Speak no, hear no or see no evil? And you call others swivel eyed twisted loons? And furthermore you have been dumb enough to post three consecutive posts trying to defend who/what is being universally condemned even from those on the left of the political spectrum. It seems the hunger for power has overtaken the called good moral values that Labour have always stood for, Momentum and their supporters have had their fingers burned publicly, and Jezza is rightly catching the fallout. But please Erns, carry on making an xxxx of yourself

Exactly. There's bigots in the Tory Party for sure. They partnered up with a load of bigots from the DUP in forming the present government and they need calling out, the same as the Jew-haters in the Labour Party and the Jew-haters in the Lib Dems. Ernest only shows himself up as the ignorant troll that he is with all this historic whataboutery.

This is major political news. The leaders of a religion are protesting against a whole British political party because they don't feel safe with what is being allowed to pass and they don't feel that Labour are listening to them. It's beyond political point-scoring, it's beyond dismissing the scale of the problem as isolated and it's way beyond all these hollow words of condemnation and hand-wringing.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise again across the world, the language, the conspiracy theories and images of hate have re-entered the political mainstream and the fact that British Jews are part of this scared and angry Jewish diaspora should be cause for national embarrassment. This is the UK, no-one should feel scared of living here for fear of religious persecution. The opposite should be true and certainly was in the past.

I worry that the Board of Deputies are right when they say that Corbyn is fundamentally unable to recognise what is happening. Even if he does have a St Paul-like epiphany he's got a lot of work to do in persuading his fellow travellers.

Case in point. Hours after that statement was released, Socialist Voice came up with this response:

[tweet]978032403674431488[/tweet]

I'm genuinely gobsmacked at such a lack of self-awareness. And do the folk at Socialist Voice think that comments like this are helpful to Jeremy Corbyn?

This with bells on. The fact that Socialist Voice calls this 'pathetic' and a left wing poster here tries to defend anti Semitism by turning it into a party political issue is truly shocking. Corbyn has done neither of these today so I will reserve judgement on him and hope that he proves to us all that he is genuinely not anti semitic. But is it rife amongst the left wing of the labour party? Clearly.

Your list suggests the Tory Party has a history of antoi scemitism. On that much we agree.
What I don't understand is the logic behind your statement 'there is only one party that is anti scemitic. Jeremy Corbyn has said there are pockets of anti scemitism within the Labour Party. Therefore surely there are two parties with a problem with anti scemitism or are you calling the Labour Party leader a liar ?

This article hits the nail on the head. 100%
It certainly hits "a" nail on the head.

A self righteous no mark Tory archetype accusing Jeremy Corbyn of being a nasty racist is about as ludicrous as things can get.

Bringing up the blue double of "austerity is good for all you young working people" in the same article is something of a triumph.

My concern is that anti-semitism is being intertwined with those who oppose aggressive Zionist attitudes.

It seems that people who fundamentally disagree with Israeli foreign policy are classed as anti-Jew.

It is wrong to discriminate or treat a race as inferior. It is not wrong to challenge the attitude and actions of a government.
