Moulsecombe and Whitehawk in Brighton are worth a look. Parts of Crawley - Tinsley Green? - are not to be missed. Don't forget to take the new open top bus tours around Bugess Hill and Hailsham - something for them to do on the odd wet day. An hour or two sitting at the end of Gatwick Airport's runway plane spotting is something not to be missed, followed by a Mucky- D from the Drive-Thru (sic) at the South terminal and a trip on the Fastway service over the border in Surrey. I could go on, there is so much for them to do and see in the area.

The description of Crawley as being the rectum of Sussex is usually given by those who are just passing through.

My wife's relations came over and wanted to see Stonehenge in Hampshire, we said no it's in Wiltshire, no they said it's definitely Hampshire after a disagreement we got the map out, they said the map's wrong! So we took them to see Stonehenge in Hampshire and they went home happy.
