Well if the poll turns out right, I sure hope I turn out to be wrong when I say the tories will continue to prise the heart out of this country inch by inch.

Not convinced. I think that the Liberal Democrat figure is wrong. They have a strong localised vote. Actually, my impression is that poll is very wide of the mark. Remember 1992 ?

Indeed... although IPSOS Mori polled 22000+ people across the country at polling stations today... and are standing by their figures.

I'm with Paddy Ashdown - I'm not convinced by this exit poll at all.

However, for now I don't care. I would have LOVED to have been a fly on the walls of chez [MENTION=1416]Ernest[/MENTION] and [MENTION=409]Herr Tubthumper[/MENTION] as the exit poll results were announced. What a beautiful moment.

I think the SNP numbers on the exit poll will be fairly accurate.

That is a far bigger story than Tory vs Labour. The third largest party in the UK will be Scottish.

Mainstream parties won't get back in north of the border. Ever.
