How much more money do you expect TB to put into this club? They walked away because they they were not up to the challenge given to them by the club to get to the Premier League on an above average yet competitive budget.

Signing Hughes is a low-risk transfer that could be a masterstroke. Proven to be capable at Premier League and Championship level, no fee and only a 1 year contract. Means that if we were to get promoted we could buy/attract a quality CB, something that is very difficult in the Championship.
