Wish I had your precognition powers. A rare gift.

And with regards Grabban - did he truly want to sign for the Albion, or was he using us for increased pay at Yournemouth?

Of course he wanted to sign, and we wanted him. Young, proven goalscorer with seemingly zero baggage. But, we wouldn't match his wages or contract length so let him walk. His improved deal at Bournemouth was hardly astronomical figures and i'm suprised more eyebrows weren't raised at the time.

Put simply we missed out him because we couldn't afford him, (even with all of AMEX's millions..............if you believe that) and as a result it is being dressed up for PR under the "FFP and Value for Money" umbrella. So again, the OP correct in my mind. He doesn't need to display hard facts it should be pretty obvious to the more observant amongst us. You just need to join the dots!

Unless you know somebody very high up within the heirarchy within the club, how would you know whether GUS was sacked for gross misconduct, because i do not recall anything ever official from the club saying as such, and if they ever did, im sure the lawyers of Mr Poyet would be suing them for a very substantial figure

A matter of public record, whether you agree it was just or not, but I don't suppose all Palace fans follow every detail of albion news.

Fact is Richie, none of what your saying is based on any fact AT ALL, so far you've said you're losing faith in a man who's invested 120M+ into this club in the last 5 years, claimed we are 'potless' based on absolutely no fact, you're question why Gus was sacked despite the FACT we know he was sacked for gross misconduct.

Most of what you say either isn't true or is pure conjecture, now call yourself a taxi and sling yer hook before this gets worse! :lolol:

From BBC Sport 4/8/13
Gus Poyet 'to take legal action' over Brighton sacking

Former Brighton manager Gus Poyet says he will take legal action over the club's decision to dismiss him for gross misconduct.
The Uruguayan, 45, was sacked in June following his suspension, an internal investigation and disciplinary hearing.
"I totally disagree with every allegation and accusation the club has put on me," Poyet told Sky Sports.
"I'll take action because it's important for me. It is the best way for the truth to come out."
Brighton's finishes under Poyet
2009-10: 13th, League One
2010-11: 1st, League One
2011-12: 10th, Championship
2012-13: 4th, Championship
The reason for Poyet's sacking has not been revealed by either party, with Brighton saying the matter would stay confidential "to ensure and maintain confidentiality and dignity" after the former Chelsea midfielder's unsuccessful appeal against his dismissal.

After landing the Sunderland job he didn't pursue any further action against the club.

i do so sincerely apologise for having an opinion and voicing it then my dear old chap, sorry but i cannot be a sheep and mindlessly follow the flock, trusting every single little bit of info we are fed to be true, that is all

Congratulations. You have managed to draw inaccurate conclusions based on a distinct lack of knowledge of the facts. Stunning, simply stunning. He's 34 BTW.

You can't start quoting facts on a thread like this ;)

So do I take it from this thread that we have now completed our squad rebuilding for this season?

Some of you supporters need to wake up and face a reality check, you need to take off those rose tinted glasses !!!!

I know i may have rattled a few cages, and yes i agree with some of your feedback, but in some areas i have raised a valid point, the fact is some of you guys don't like being challenged with an opinion different to your own

Wow new ground and training ground and you bitch about a good signing ,how old are you cos I bet you wernt around in the 90s ,now that was grim

The club is on record saying he was sacked for gross misconduct. Breech of Contract as a reason also in the public domain. Do keep up.

You are 100% correct. Sources such as Reuters, The Guardian, The Telegraph, all stated so, and are a tad more reliable than a NSC poster desperately guessing otherwise to suit the gist of his/her argument.

Not so many weeks ago, Tony Bloom stated in an interview that the club wouldn't be rushed into making new signings, and only making the best available signings for the club, i relation to budget etc

No disrespect to Aaron Hughes, but at 35 yrs old, injury prone and hardly getting a game in the championship last year with QPR, yes we have landed him on a free transfer, not sure what sort of wages he would demand, but just doesnt this signing show us where we really are at, relying on free signings because we havent got a budget big enough to fork out for transfer fees ???

Sorry to say it, but im afraid that we havent got a pot to piss in !!!!!

Sell ULLOA to Leicester for £7.5 million now and reinvest quickly

Opening post ..question posed ..answer..no it doesn't prove anything as yet

well idiots like yourself always come up with this argument, somebody who you disagree with gets labelled a troll or a jfc or a palace fan, cos you have not got the intelligence to do any other

Pointing out that I think you are palace is not an argument.
I haven't read all your posts so I do not agree or disagree.
I haven't said your are a jfc or a troll.

If we haven't a pot to piss in and are in trouble then selling ulloa won't be re invested in the team .

That is a serious negative Thumb ! Must be a record.
