Much better tonight, still need to be convinced he's a better option than Goldson.

I thought he did better than good tonight. Solid and commanding (although that's somewhat easier with Dunk in imperious form), and there were two or three brilliant passes threaded through, turning defence into attack.

He was alright tonight - still nowhere near Goldson's level IMO. A strange signing for such a high fee. He is fairly slow and his headers are a bit wayward at times but is def solid enough - just hope he doesn't keep playing just to justify his price tag when it seems fairly clear Goldson is better at the moment...

He was phenomenal tonight.
Your expectations on a centre back performance must be based on Hawkins vs Hartlepool to call Duffy phenomenal tonight.

He is an accident waiting to happen, he should be a back up for Dunk, Goldson, Hünemeier and Bruno for a centre back spot. Awful waste of £4million.

Did you watch a different game tonight? Hudds didn't have a sniff cleared everything in the air and looked good on the ball bit like having two Dunks once they get their partnership stronger.

I disagree strongly. He worked well tonight and has a better understanding with Bruno.

Hold on. Are you using Hawkins' performance against Hartlepool as your measure of the worst possible performance by a Centre Back? Shouldn't we use Hawkins' display against Stockport instead?

Goldson was in superb form at the end of last season. I look forward to having him back in the starting 11
