Having tipped Kaymer for the US Open @50/1....I'm going for the double up with Brandt Snedeker @66/1 and if your looking for a live big outsider, Victor Dubuisson @125/1 could have you biting your finger nails, come Sunday afternoon.

I had Martin Kaymer for the US also will have a win bet on him at 25's and Henrik Stenson at 16's
My value each way bets are Robert Karlson and Hideki Matsuyami at 66's and Jason Dufner at 80's.
My two big price each way outsiders are Johan Blixt at 125's and Chris Kirk at 200's

Can't have Rory. If starts going bad for him he can't stop the bleeding. Could win but could also miss the cut. Some big price outsiders who could give you a run for your money are Matsuyama @ 75, Manasero @ 150, Woodland @ 210 and Aphibarnrat @ 1000 ! Good luck everyone.

Aphibarnrat is quite superb. Not only is he about 8 stone overweight but he is a real character and a pretty damn good golfer to boot.

I seldom back favourites but Rose must be good value at 19-1 on Betfair. Top 10 finish is a touch shy of 2-1 too so a £5 e/w investment gets you at least £4.85 profit if Rose gets a top 10 finish.

Great competition, canne wait.

Corals have a good offer place a £10 win bet and get a free £10 bet as soon as the tournament starts
A good offer El Greeko, shame their prices are shit. But I've backed Dustbin Johnson at 40/1 who possibly should have won in Sandwich in 2011 but shanked one out of bounds on the 14th or 15th. 40/1 is ok value if he doesn't blow his arse and with the bonus of a tenner free bet somewhere during the week.

I have a free £10 bet, that i have to use by Sunday night, I know nothing about golf or the gee gees, i can split it into a fiver each way, so where should i put their money? Id usually do it on football, or one of Uncle Speilbergs fancies recently, but I haven't a clue where to put it this week

To go on a bit more, I had Fowler in the Scottish Open last weekend and he went round the first two days with par each time and then smashed the last couple of days to finish joint 8th. If he'd pulled his finger out of his arse on the Thursday/Friday he could have easily been in the place money.

Jamie Donaldson is one to watch IMO. Not necessarily to win, but top 10 I'd say.

£25 each way on Henrik Stenson(16/1) with Betfred, who are paying a very generous EIGHT places 1/4 odds.

Plays well on links courses. In great form 7-5-4-2 coming into this & has a good Open record, 3 top5 finishes in last 5 appearances. Will do for me :)
