Which adds more to the argument about buying the right man to do the job required not break you transfer record and then play the man out of position. Perhaps we would buy a striker and then play him in midfield if Gross was injured. The argument against that of course is Rooney.

You are so bloody thick. Sorry, don’t wish to be deliberately rude but my word. Deluded and clueless.

@BG raises a very valid question about Izquierdo though.

£13.5m so the club must have rated him highly, and this team lacks pace. Why doesn't he start games with regularity?

He's yet to be Hughtonised.

I'd imagine CH doesn't see him as the finished article and needs to work with him more before he can trust him.

I'm going to a Bon Jovi tribute act next Friday at the Concourse.
Two hours with me would change your view:rock::drink::rock::O:moo:

Depending on how fit Kayal is, I would try swapping Gross and Propers positions. Not sure we would have a lot to lose there but possibly a lot to gain. By all accounts Gross is as good in midfield as he is as a no.10.

Fortunately, a man who has brought up a family and run a business won't give a shit. Hats off @Ben's Grandad
