I've not watched one of these Trump press conferences "live" before - the man talks gibberish, he barely finishes a sentence, and just keeps using words like beautiful, great, so good, etc... the man is a dangerous moron!

Brighton factually.....

You couldn’t make it up, not even in a crap Hollywood film....
“let’s have the president of USA make relief cheques made up during the time of a global pandemic”......

“stay with me on this one fellas”......

“ The evil president insists his face and signature are put on cheque, so they remember who to vote for”

Rest of the script writers.....

“**** off that’s going too far, the public won’t fall for that, their not dumb”.....

Oh but some are....

Democratic supporters in Michigan converging on the capital Lansing today, in protest to lockdown advice....

I love America and Michigan, but for fecks sake, what is wrong with them......

Truly the most dangerous man in the world....

There is a wise old phase that stands the test of time and probably written specifically for Trump and his supporters.

“Never ever argue with an idiot, because they will beat you every time with experience”

It's only a matter of time before Trump points out the top 7 worst infected states are Democrat held.

The bottom 5 are Republican.

Sound bites like that in the US win you elections.

"Mr President, why did you have your name added to these coronavirus relief cheques ?"

"Well I don't know too much about it but I understand my name is there. I don't know where they're going, how they're going, I do understand its not delaying anything, and I'm satisfied with that. I don't imagine its a big...I'm sure people will be very happy to get a big fat beautiful cheque and my name is on it. Yeah - go ahead...go ahead"
(talking over and shutting down the reporters follow-up question)

Doesn't know too much about it ? I can GUARANTEE this narcissistic prick was absolutely INSISTENT on his orange muggy fingerprints being all over these "checks" being sent out. In Election year. This guy is so full of shit its cascading from his ears.

I’ve not checked, but i’m going to make a complete stab in the dark. Do these bottom 7 have large constituents of black, ethnic minority and poor people?

Oh yes, and you’re right, dead people can’t vote (well, that is unless they use one of those horrible horrible postal votes)...

Other than Connecticut (close proximity to NYC), yes.

I agree, oh he will win another term, without doubt, unless he opens way too early and this virus has not run its course through America..

Without looking at the 7 worst states, can I guess they are probably the poorest states, most populated, or ethnically diverse ?
let me guess Arizona one of whitest elite states is one of lowest, where the rich white folk from the poor democrats states have their holiday homes, or have retired to as its deemed safer than Miami and Florida now, in their white fenced off villages.

I never said it was a statement i'd agree with.

It would however be the kind of statement many in the US would take note of. Such is how the US population can be manipulated.

Not just the poorest states. Bit of a mix really.

NY and Mass aren't poor.

Mass and Penn aren't that diverse, quite white in fact.

Here's a link to the break down of infected/deaths per state.

Detroit, Chicago and New Orleans look bad, mainly places of high transit either boats or airplanes looks like to me.
I think America has got this wrong if they open up to early or stop social distancing, I know from family in Michigan it’s not being fully observed in small stores, and house parties are still going on, my father in law was moaning that they were talking about banning people going out on their boats, that was last week.

The smartest thing anyone could do it to point out to Trump the socialist Swedish Governments failure by not imposing any lock downs has lead to an awfully high levels of deaths.

Within 24 hours he'd be citing it and sending in the national guard to lock down all cities.

That's how I'd get it done.

He wouldn't do that. Well, actually, I'm not sure. It's not beyond him.

In this time and age he can do anything because his opposition are so utterly corrupt and inept that it's created an environment where he can get away with it.

Chris Cuomo from CNN has even come out and said he's hates this hyper-partisanship going on.

Only the other day he was criticising Sweden's approach for being reckless!

Watching and reading about Trump's handling of this from afar is like watching alternate reality. I can't imagine what it must be like being in America, especially for those actually suffering loss and grief from this thing and having to listen to their president making quotes such as: "We will be the comeback kids, all of us, all of us. It's incredible, what's going on," in the middle of a national and worldwide crisis.

They are more numbed to death in the US.

From constant wars, to crime, to drugs etc a pandemic probably seems just another way for people to die in the scheme of things.

US Presidents have been rah rahing the people for a long time now. It's how they have been getting away with sending so many young men off to their deaths in foreign lands for so long with zero purpose for doing so.
