The only reason this is a thing is because the Biden's are corrupt as ****.

This talking point, straight from the GOP defence playbook, doesn't seem to consider the question: If Trump really was concerned about their corruption, why he, as the man in charge of the largest investigative agency in the world, chose to pursue an investigation through bribing Ukraine and Rudy Guiliani? It's almost as if the argument is a made up one used to explain his actions after the event.....

Deep state, everyone's as bad as each other, pivot, winge, distraction, talk over the question, blah blah blah, everyone do the Putin shuffle.

However, Biden isn't President of the US !

You've lost me. Did I suggest he was?
No, you didn't and I know that, I was referring to people accusing Biden and family of being corrupt.... When he is not subject to the same level of scrutiny as the Ginger Baby.

Thanks for the explanation. I connected the two posts too closely and confused myself.

If we are going to refer to Trump using Spice Girls, could we please add Scary to Ginger and Baby?

So Trump is no different to any other politician then. Colour me shocked.

The only reason this is a thing is because the Biden's are corrupt as ****.

The irony in you being more outraged by Trump potentially exposing a corrupt group of people isn't lost on me. Especially when you're trumpeting codes of ethics.

God damn you are a true ****ing ********. If anyone has a ticket in the future that they might want to sell you there is no way in hell they could trust you with making the payment. You have no ethical standards.

Biden didn't do anything to help his political cause such as help himself in the 2020 election. Trump obviously DID!

He's leading the polls to be the next democratic candidate and within the year he could be president elect, he absolutely should be up to the same level of scrutiny at this point.

If 'the same level of scrutiny' cannot keep out of office a man who still lies about why he won't release his tax returns, paid hush money to a porn star, admitted to sexual assault, publicly called for foreign interference in an election, is banned from involvement in charities after being required by a judge to pay $2 million of misused funds, is an unindited co-conspirator in an election fraud case that his co-conspirator is in jail for, faces multiple law suits over breaking the emoulments clause and, against all protocol, has held repeated undocumented meetings with Putin, I don't think Biden has anything to fear from it.

Have been trying to understand impeachment but it seems like it'll go to senate trial, then it'll be voted on, probably along party lines and if he's guilty he'll get away with it. Is that right? And if so, doesn't that just make his re-election more likely? Or is there a possibility of a non partisan vote?

So we don't want to see improvement then, we just want to play children's games. Gotcha.

Assuming it is Biden then it would be a massive improvement on corruption, dishonesty and bollocks. Even the GOP knows that but carry on playing the children’s game Simple Simon.

The only people playing games are those pretending that there is anything to investigate around Joe Biden's involvement in Ukraine: https://www.axios.com/joe-hunter-bi...ump-1b031c30-3173-4a45-a6a7-2e551759063c.html.

Trump wants people to take his scandal mongering and whataboutism seriously, not because the accusations have any substance, but for the same reason he wants anything, because it is of benefit to him personally. There is overwhelming evidence that he is a liar, a cheat, a conman, a fraudster, a sexual predator, a thief and possibly a traitor: Not the kind of person I would trust when he argues that the political opponent who scares him most needs to be investigated for corruption.

I don't think that link you provided helps your case much.

It does not address how someone like Hunter Biden all of a sudden ends up with a job, in a foreign country, getting paid a large sum of money to sit on a board he has no expertise of.

How do you think Hunter Biden ended up with such a lucrative job in a foreign country?

It also proves that the very thing that started off this impeachment process "quid pro quo" was exactly what Biden and the Obama administration committed when dealing with Ukraine years ago.

This is what quid pro quo really looks like.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden said he told Poroshenko.

Actually it's not just a GOP talking point. If your view is there are only two sides to this partisan debate then you'd think that.

Except it's also very much a talking point say among Bernie Sanders liberal support base. It's very much a talking point among several other groups that aren't GOP but are anti-Neoliberal or anti-Industrial War complex.

It's a talking point because different groups from different backgrounds have noted the same thing.

The IG report showed why you can't trust these Investigative Agencies.

Trump will lose in the House of Representatives but be acquitted by the Senate, then spin the accusation as a personal smear and convince enough voters the Democrats were out to get him, then go on to win a second term by a slim majority.

He is untouchable.

He’s got money, that’s all he needs. He pays clever people to do the thinking. Did he use his intelligence to get the money in the first place?

Since he has been elected, the democrats have been looking for a way to impeach him. There are probably multiple routes to go down seeing the man is a grade A **** but it seems that they’ve managed to prove something this time.

He is not like all politicians, he has purchased the Presidency using money and hate. There won’t be too many Presidents viewed worse than him when the US finally kick him out.

You're right about one thing, he's not like other politicians.

He's so full of his own self worth that he's not got that political guile to hide his true thoughts from people.

You always know what Trump is thinking. Unlike other politicians who think one thing and tell you another thing to your face.

Your claim of he bought his Presidency isn't factual at all. Hilary had far more money backing her run and yet she lost. She used her financial clout to rig the primaries to get rid of Bernie Sanders. So money can't simply buy you what you want in the end.

If it could then Bloomberg would be the next President.

He's beatable.

They just chose the worst way to go about it.

You can beat him with policies and fiscal ideas if they resonate with enough voters.
